Trust in the media on a global stage is being eroded. We are in a time of considerable risk for the entire industry. It is imperative that the very core of journalism and honest reporting is regained.In the third part of the module we look at how to spot ‘Fake News’,misinformation and lies. Using long established, fact checking, journalism skills, developing and nurturing sources and the very latest verification tools,we will combat the dangers of fake news and begin to restore trust in the media.
